10. American Airlines Business Class
Although they have a simple Bulkhead Layout with not too many in-flight Amenities. American Airlines has a very Comfortable and Cozy 58 x 18.5 Inch seat, which is extremely small when it comes to Business Class Seats. on its typical Long Haul flight (Usually 5 hours or more). The seats in Business Class in the middle aisle are very close together and can be very bothersome if you are not flying with someone. The front 4 Business Class seats are very close to the lavatory and the flight attendants don’t stop talking and are mildly rude to certain passengers. Business Class seats are just what they should be, nothing more, nothing less and the service is the same. If you are looking for a very luxurious journey than I would recommend a different airline.
9. La Compagnie All Business Class Airline
La Compagnie Business Class has 62 x 26 inch seats with a very comfortable seat, a personal tablet/ television next to your seat. The La Compagnie plans in general are very small and All Business Class. So you don’t get the personalized attention that you would on other airlines and the premium Boarding and Lounge Access, which is a huge disadvantage to any traveler. But the airline make up for it with great food and spacious and comfortable seats and good Prices. On the other hand the airline is very small and some flights are unpredictable on whether they will be canceled so you don’t have the reliability or customer service of a big airline. You can only get flights from the La Compagnie website so there is no price differentiation and no chance of you getting a deal on other sites like Orbitz, TripAdvisor, Kayak etc. I have gathered all of the reviews for the La Compagnie flights and after just reading them I see that they basically don’t have the Human Relations Personnel and Resources of a Bigger Airline to guarantee your satisfaction and comfort. If you want to fly on a new airline with a different layout and some comfort in their seats than you should try this Airline but if you need to get somewhere on a flight I recommend you take a Larger and More Reliable Airline like United, Iberia,AA, Delta etc.
8. United Airlines Polaris Business Class
United Airlines Polaris Business Class is the newest edition to United’s Premium Cabins, Recently installed and currently used on United’s more Popular Routes, EWR-LAX, EWR-LHR, ORD-LHR. Although the layout of United’s Polaris Business Class does not give everyone direct aisle access, It’s still enjoyable. The seats are 76 x 20 which is significantly bigger than American Airlines and La Compagnie. United Airlines have even added Polaris lounges which are much more exclusive than traditional United Airlines Lounges and offer a sit down restaurant that provides Special Food similar to what you’ll eat onboard so you can start your Polaris experience from the second you get to the airport.
7. Jetblue Mint
The New Jetblue Mint is extremely affordable at $550 each way and has a more private and spacious cabin than United Airlines. Jetblue Mint is currently only available for Transcontinental Flight, JFK-LAX/SFO. Jetblue seats are 58 x 20.5 which is significantly less pitch than United, La Compagnie and American. But once you get into the lie flat position you get a great 80 inch bed size. Jetblue Mint is not part of an alliance though so using miles could be very hard to do because you have to earn all of your miles on Jetblue. So if you want to fly Jetblue Mint with Miles get ready for some Economy Class flights. Another downside is that there is not Jetblue Lounge at LAX of SFO so Business Class passengers are going to have to wait at the gate.
6. British Airways Club World
British Airways Club World Business Class is used on Transatlantic and some longer flights. Each seat has extraordinary privacy, the most you’ll find in a Business Class seat. The Club World seats are 72 x 20, the width of the seats are mediocre but you won’t mind once you settle in. Since most Club World cabins are so big ordering food may be a hassle but British Airways makes sure you’re provided with snacks before and during the flight. British Airways Lounges are in most major airports which can make your journey significantly nicer in connecting flights or if you like getting to the airport early.
5. Cathay Pacific
Cathay Pacific’s Business Class is great for Medium Distance Flights but it doesn’t have the amenities and service so that a traveler can enjoy in a 10+ hour flight. Cathay Pacific’s Business Class seat is 81 x 21. Which is pretty big compared to American Carriers. Cathay Pacific Business Class is not as luxurious as other carriers that have sheets are great food and drinks. But, Cathay Pacific is better for Business Travelers with its no distraction environment and work friendly spaces. Cathay Pacific has special Business Class lounges at select airports, but Business Class Customers can also use OneWorld partner lounges.
4. Singapore Airlines Business Class
Singapore Airlines Business class offers luxurious service in a 55 x 28 seat. The seat has a fairly small pitch but a very big width. But, when you’re sleeping width is what matters. Singapore Airlines has sheets and blankets for your bed which makes sleeping much more comfortable. Food and drinks on Singapore Airlines is also significantly better on Singapore Airlines than United, American, Jetblue, and La Compagnie. Singapore Airlines is a great choice if you’re going to Singapore but some of their other routes are not as good. Singapore Airlines Lounges are very limited but they are in the Star Alliance, so if you’re flying Business Class you’ll have access to some lounges in many airports.
3. Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways current Business Class is amazing, with a great selection of Food, Drinks and snacks. The seats are very comfortable and turn into a spacious and and cozy bed. The Business Class seats are 80 x 22 which is more pitch than all American Carriers. But, Qatar Airways Business Class is getting even better with their new QSuite on their widely used airplane the Airbus A350. The QSuite allows 2-4 Passengers seated in the middle of the row to Eat, Sleep and Watch together. The Window seats are better for Solo Travelers with the privacy of a Suite. Qatar Airways Lounges are slim but they are part of the OneWorld Alliance which grants Business and First Passengers of Qatar access to many lounges.
2. Etihad Airlines
Etihad Airlines Business Class is modeled like a luxury hotel with a lounge in the Business Class Cabin. The Etihad Business Class seat is 73 x 20 which is a great amount of pitch and a fair amount of width. The cabin is modeled like British Airways Club World cabin with the Yin Yang layout. The Etihad Onboard experience includes pillows and sheets and great Food and Drinks.
1. Emirates Airline
Emirates Airlines Business Class is by far the most comfortable and luxurious Business Class in the sky. The Emirates Business Class seat is 48 x 18.5. The Pitch and Width are very small but the food, drinks and comfort of the seat make up for it. Included in the seat is a tablet to control the tv and check the flight path, a personal minibar and a huge tv. The layout of the cabin is normal for Business Class (Nothing special in the layout). As a Business Class customer you get access to Emirates Business Class lounge.
